Forgive Me Everyone

I am not dead.
I owe you an apology
for pulling that disappearing trick.
I have realized that I cannot be Houdini forever,

the absence was a long one.
The past several months have been surreal
as well as having brought great change,
and these pages bring me a reminder
of something that is so far away.
Don't get me wrong,
I am fazed by happiness,
the world is a beautiful place,
and I have learned to appreciate every
second that has been handed down to me.

I found myself wandering through life,

tending to others, thinking, and meditating.

No, I have not left,
I simply took a bit of Air.

But I feel as if it is time for a fresh start.

You May or May Not want to look,

but I promise that if you do,

you will bring waves,
